Jelaskan apa yang dimaksud dengan pemanasan global dan efek rumah kaca menurut Soemarwoto (Prof. Dr. Ir. Oto Soemarwoto) !

According Soemarwoto (1992), is a global warming is the rise in temperature of the earth's surface due to the increase in the intensity of the greenhouse effect (ERK). ERK occurs because the infrared light emitted by the Earth's re-absorbed by certain gases called greenhouse gases (GHG). CO2 is the most important greenhouse gases, CFCs, methane, ozone and N2O, respectively - each less than 10%. Thus at this time the most important greenhouse gas is CO2, followed by CFC.

Menurut Soemarwoto (1992), yang dimaksud dengan pemanasan global adalah naiknya suhu permukaan bumi karena naiknya intensitas efek rumah kaca (ERK). ERK sendiri sangatlah berguna, karena tanpa adanya ERK rata – rata suhu permukaan bumi hanyalah –18o C. Dengan adanya ERK suhu rata – rata permukaan bumi ialah 15o C. ERK terjadi karena sinar infra-merah yang dipancarkan kembali oleh bumi terserap oleh gas tertentu yang disebut gas rumah kaca(GRK). GRK terpenting ialah CO2, CFC, metan, ozon dan N2O, masing – masing kurang dari 10%. Dengan demikian pada waktu ini GRK terpenting ialah CO2 disusul oleh CFC.
